In the beginning...

In The Beginning...

Beginnings are important.  How a story begins is the single most important thing about the story itself.  If there is no hook, no joke, no excitement, no catch phrase to get listeners interested then odds are the story itself will fall on deaf ears.  The beginning of a story is what makes me want to listen to the rest of it, to see what it has to offer.  I always think about the best way to begin a story.  And because the beginning is so important I am having a hard time deciding how to start this blog.  This is my second attempt at blogging.  I am not tech savvy, I am not hip or cool in the ways of social media by any means, but I have been told that I tell a good story, so in order to put some of those stories on paper and share some of my thoughts I decided...about 15 minutes ago to begin a new blog.  But that is just it, how do I begin this blog?  How do I draw readers in, hook them, get them interested, and how do I do so without my infamous and fantastic gestures, and facial expressions?  So how do I begin this "story" of my life as it is right now?  Well I guess i just did.  I started it with questions, thought provoking prompts that have hopefully drawn my readers in and made them want to continue reading.
